Galicea Mare brings back to life a historic Oltenian wine estate whose story began in 1912, with its first wines produced in 1916. Restored and modernized since 2016, the estate combines its viticultural heritage with a contemporary approach to winemaking.
Today, around 43 hectares of vineyards on the sunlit plains of southern Oltenia produce wines defined by freshness, balance and a clear sense of place. Modern cellar technology and carefully judged oak allow the character of the vineyards and grape varieties to remain at the forefront.
