Cotnari

Cotnari is one of Romania's most historic wine producers, rooted in a winemaking tradition documented for more than six centuries. The estate has become synonymous with the indigenous varieties and distinctive sweet wines of the Cotnari vineyard in northeastern Romania.

Across approximately 1,400 hectares, Cotnari cultivates traditional Romanian grapes including Grasa de Cotnari, Feteasca Alba, Francusa and Tamaioasa Romaneasca. These varieties, shaped by the area's rolling hills and distinctive soils, remain at the heart of one of Romania's most recognisable wine identities.
